Heaptalk, Jakarta — Acting Regent of North Kolaka, Sukanto Toding officially closed the MSMEs event Gebyar UMKM in the region.

Sukanto, in his speech, appreciated the organizing of this event. He conveyed that this occasion becomes an important event to guiding and developing MSMEs in North Kolaka. He also added that this activity is a golden moment for MSMEs to showcase their products and services to society.

“This event has managed to assist MSMEs in enhancing entrepreneurs’ spirit, inspiration, creativity, and innovation,” conveyed Sukanto Toding (10/08).

During the event, Sukanto also conveyed that MSMEs hold an important role in advancing the economy of North Kolaka and Indonesia.  “MSMEs are the main actors in enhancing the region’s economy. MSMEs also contribute to absorbing the workforce, creating new markets and innovation, and becoming a contributor to the national balance of payments.”

He invited the entire stakeholders to support the growth of MSMEs, enabling them to contribute to the prosperity of North Kolaka.

For information, North Kolaka Government, through Team to drive Family Empowerment and Welfare (TP PKK) organized MSMEs event, named Gebyar UMKM, starting from Thursday (10/05).

According to the Head of TP PKK Nina Harini Sukanto, this event presents a strong commitment to guiding and developing North Kolaka’s MSMEs.

“Perceiving its function, this event should be carried out routinely to leverage the brand awareness of MSMEs products in North Kolaka, which later, can attract tourists who visit Southeast Sulawesi,” said Nina Harini Sukanto.
